9.11.13. After yet another gold mine museum we set off south on an undulating road through the rain forest. Dull and cloudy so the views were limited and not special again today. The highlight of today was reaching our 1000 miles, exactly at the Bushman's cafe in Pukekura. So we celebrated under a giant sandfly with hot chocolate and a cheese scone! Now in Whataroa.
