17.11.13 we agonised over whether to risk the dodgy looking weather but were both keen to have this next bit (Haast Pass) behind us. We are so glad we went today because the sun came out progressively, the scenery was breath-taking and we can now relax and enjoy having really done it. No more big hurdles to get over! Recovering in Makarora.
