Our cycle today took us 40 miles through more lush green rolling farmland countryside, lovely but not in the league of Route 52. Stopped for a tasting at Gladstone winery en route. Unbelievable wind for last few miles. At times it was quite funny (only because we were within striking distance) - we were heads down in bottom gear fighting with all our might just to keep the bikes moving forward on flat ground. It was deafening and I was terrified my contact lenses would fly out! Now at Martinborough.
