13.11.13 cycled over to Lake Matheson early this morning but shortly after we arrived the clouds descended over the mountains. So we went off to take a look at the glacier several miles in the other direction, but the track was closed for flooding! Anyhow, undeterred, we went back to the lake this evening for a second chance and it was simply magical!

    Hi Ian and Judy,
    Sorry it's taken me way to long to get onto your blog site but what an amazing site it is. The pictures you have taken are great and to be able to see the distances you have travelled!! you will have seen a lot more of this beautiful country of ours than many kiwi's that is for sure. I'm glad the trip is going well so far and you have come across some really nice people along the way. Enjoy the rest of your trip, will make sure to check back in to see where you are next.
