31.10.13/1.11.13 after a day of chilling in Nelson we set off on the longest ride yet - 61 miles. Lovely cycle paths out of Nelson, then beautiful coastal route, past Ruby Bay. Lunch in Motueka and then a fabulous 30 miles up the Motueka Valley road. Sunshine, stunning river and mountain views all the way. This road rivals Route 52 in North Island for scenery and wind!!! Now in Tapawera - middle of nowhere.
