Day off.  What a pretty place Hahei is.  We took the coastal bush path to the famous Cathedral Cove, this morning.  It is lovely, a bit like south coast England, but the highlight was the bush walk - we love the NZ vegetation.  This afternoon we cycled to Hot Water beach, where in a limited area there is hot spring water welling up from deep under the sand.  The idea is that you dig your own hot pool and sit in it.  Actually we were a bit late getting there and so we just admired others who got there earlier wallowing in their own hot tubs - not wishing to squeeze in between them or poach theirs.
